BYE LAWS OF THIS AUTHORITY
REGARDING ALLOTMENT OF LAND/PLOT
Allotment of plots on first come
first served basis
1. RESTORATION OF CANCELLED PLOTS
Allottees whose plots are
cancelled in accordance with the condition of allotment /
lease agreement but have been paying all dues in full time,
their request for restoration of cancelled plot can be
accepted with following condition:-
They agree to pay the
difference of amount of cost of land when it was allotted
and when it is being restored.
They agree to go into
production as per condition of allotment / lease of land
with effect from the date of restoration of cancelled plot.

2. TRANSFER OF OPEN PLOT
Allottees who are not defaulter
otherwise of any term and condition of allotment / lease of
land can apply for transfer of open plot to any third party
provided they agree:-
a)
To pay transfer fee of Rs. 50/- per square meter in
addition to any other condition in vogue.
b)
The new allottee agrees to go into production within
laid down period.
3. PLOT STILL NOT USED EVEN
AFTER 18 MONTHS OF ALLOTMENT
a)
In such a case where annual ground rent has been paid
regularly, plot be cancelled and premium paid by the
allottee be refunded.
b)
Since annual ground rent is charged by LIEDA in
advance in the beginning of each financial year in the month
of July, therefore in case the allottee fails to pay the
rent of that year by 30th June, his plot will be
cancelled without any refund to allottee.
4. CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN DONE BUT UNIT NOT MADE
OPERATIVE
In such a case allottee should be given
a show cause notice / approached and given a hearing and
depending on the fact of case cancellation be decided by
Works Committee of LIEDA.

5. PLOTS ALLOTTED ON INSTALLMENTS
All those
allotments where plots have been given on installments and
not constructed even after 18 months will be cancelled
without giving a notice.
6.
LAND / PLOT FOR SETTING UP A PHARMACEUTICAL UNIT
a) Allottee
must apply to concerned Authority (Ministry of Health,
Islamabad) for verification of plots and site approval
within one month of allotment of land by this Authority.
b) The
period of 18 months for going into production will start
with effect from the date of issuance of manufacturing
license by the concerned Authority.
